Leo Howard plays as young Conan. He must see his village was destroyed and his family was killed by the evil force of Khalar Zym. The young Conan was the only survivor there and he grew up with great vengeance in his heart. This vengeance also has shaped Conan into what he is later.

Khalar Zhym attacked the monastery with the help of Marique (played by Rose McGowan). Tamara was captured there on that raid. Conan tried to attack and kill Zhym’s men to help Tamara but Conan had to fight against sand soldier created by Marique. Conan was failed that time and Tamara was taken captive and Khalar Zhym planed to drain Tamara’s blood in order to get the energy from the mask.

Will Conan succeed to help Tamara out of the hand of Khalar Zhym? What will happen to Conan and Tamara? Will Tamara and Conan live together? In the comic of Conan the Barbarian, the character of Tamara is not really a familiar one. Conan is usually related to Red Sonja and other girls, but hardly any Tamara character was mentioned.

Jason Momoa played as Conan the Barbarian in the new Conan the Barbarian movie. Comparing to Arnold Schwarzenegger, this new Conan the Barbarian movie presents a smaller Conan body. Arnold has huge muscles to show off while Jason Momoa maybe only half size of Arnold’s muscle. However this won’t make the new Conan the Barbarian movie looks bad, because the new Conan gives the idea of agility and in a way it is even looked more realistic as a street fighter or warrior who grew up on the street and battles.
